2016 - CYUT started to plan collecting information and assessing manpower needs for the establishment of College of Aviation
2017.02.07 - The set-up of Preparatory Office - College of Aviation
2018.05.15 - Approval from the Ministry of Education to set up the Department of Aeronautical Engineering
2019.08 - First intake of Year 1 students and the second intake in 2020.08, expected to intake 2 classes per year starting from 2021
2020.05 - Ministry of Education approved the set-up of the Department of Aviation Technology, expected to intake first batch of students in August 2021
